Targets targets

When I'm in a good mood, I'm all about the targets. One of the guys I work with is on maternity cover, and so he leaves at the end of term. I have 17 weigh-ins until he goes. This will also be Summer Holidays, so obviously another reason to have lost as much as possible.

If I managed to average 2lb a week in weight loss, I would be 13st 2.5lb by the 19th June, the last week of term. Now, that's not a very 'clean' number, so I am going to set my target as:

13 stone!

Too optimistic? Too hopeful? Too hard? Maybe. Maybe it will be. The last few weeks, I'm losing about a pound, or half a pound - but at the same time, I know I could have been better with food and alcohol and exercise. So yes, it WOULD be possible. It actually would. Whether I'll do it or not is another matter...

13 stone. Wow, that's still massive really isn't it, for a midget like me? Still just over 3 stone overweight :s I'll still be a size 16...why is my body so ridiculous?

Anyway...that's the target - and it's the middle of the year, which is good too.

Looking at smaller targets...

By the 3rd of April (before going to visit a friend in Belgium) I would like to have lost ONE MORE STONE - taking me to 14st 8.5lb.

By 22nd May (just before Mum's birthday) I'd like to have lost ONE MORE STONE - taking me to 13st 8.5lb.

And then it's the 19th June and hopefully 13st.

Some may say it's depressing to set hard targets like this - but at the same time, if I set myself a target of 1lb a week, I'd be depressed then as well. 1lb a week. Only worthwhile when you have a stone or less to lose...

So wish me luck people! Or better still, join me - send me healthy food ideas, invite me to do some exercise, or come join me in mine. Knowing my track record, I need all the help I can get!

    1. YAY! Maybe when I visit, we walk and walk and walk and walk, and that counts as exercise and then we both dance gleefully?

  2. Watch my120 pound journey every day in the morning. And make your own and publish at the end and so inspire others. By the end you will hate coldplay and have lost awesome weight and got awesomely fitter. Win win win!

    1. Hmm, as much as I'd love to show this amazing dramatic weight loss - there will be a big difference between the beginning at the end, I think the bits in the middle might be a bit subtle knowing my stupid body!

      I should watch it more though - really don't want to hate Coldplay though - I love that song!
