Now, I always talk about inspiration etc etc - and often I am talking about celebrities, or people I don't know but have found the blogs of. TODAY I am going to talk about inspiration of the best kind - someone I actually know, like and respect. Her name is Louise and she is a friend of mine from London. She's amazing. Actually amazing. Every time I see her blog and her progress I am immensely impressed. So view her blog here. And then click back to the beginning to see where she started. Be amazed and in awe like me about where she is now.
She is my inspiration for 2012. I am so proud of her and I admire her willpower and commitment. The improvements she has made in her running have also been outstanding, and she has taken on CRAZY challenges at her gym and seen them through. But seriously, read her blog yourself, from the beginning, and see what she has done and what she has achieved.
I sat down with a calculator after reading her blog today to work out what I needed to lose. To be 9 stone I need to lose 102lb. That is more than this lady weighed in this photo I think:
Scary? Yes. Achievable? I hope so. I mean, I'd like to be under 9 stone but I've not been there since I was about 10, so who knows whether it's possible?
Some things most definitely ARE possible though - I can see that by what Louise has achieved.
Wow... that lady in the photo is too thin. That's got that celebrity you're starting to see bones that shouldn't be so visible thing about her upper chest. Not surprising she weighs nothing!
ReplyDeleteThe inspiration girl's photo is rubbish, but I think that's a lovely, sporty healthy shape. More attractive that the photo above. Go Louise. GO JANE.
Hehe, yes well mobile phone photos aren't the best, but yes - I would aspire to look like her over the above photo.
ReplyDeleteAnd I definitely don't want to look like Nicole Richie - I'm just slightly scared that I have to lose more than she weighed there to even be near my goal...
I agree - photo girl is too skinny but your friend's figure looks good. If she can do it, why can't you? Will read blog after work...

Hehe - again, I'm not aspiring to photo girl! She just was the only celeb I could find who weighed about 100lb!
