Cooking again and despondent mood

Back on the diet means...I'm back to cooking nice, healthy food with lots of veg. Tonight - baked chicken leg, ratatouille and roasted potatoes. All for 13 points. Yummy!


It was very nice - I'm now satisfied, but not full. This is apparently how you should always feel after eating....

Weird mood tonight - my new onesie temporarily cheered me up:

But not anymore :( Very despondent. Not good. Feels horrible. Booo.

Food for today:

Banana - 0
50g porridge with maple syrup and milk – 8
Bagel with ham and margerine – 9
Chicken leg – 7
Potato – 6
Chocolate covered pretzels - 9
TOTAL = 39
Which is: 34/34 + 5/49 (plus the 9 from yesterday) = 14/49 weeklies

Sigh. Now to mope on the sofa.

    How is a banana 0 points? It's the fattiest fruit (hence why it's so yummy *sigh*).

  2. Fruit is zero as long as you have no more than 5-a-day (I believe - I don't think I'd eat 5 pieces of fruit a day anyway). Think it's to encourage healthiness, in the past people would eat chocolate or crisps over fruit cos you had to point fruit. Imagine they have adjusted the plan so as long as you are sensible, fruit is ok unpointed.

    Onesies rock. You are wrong. :)

    I'm hungry now though. Sigh.
